ACORD has a fleet of well-maintained vehicles operated by trained staff. Transportation to work and activities is available based on individual need. We also teach those who are able how to safely use community transportation such as bus transit, various town-offered vans, and such services as My Ride or Dial-A-Ride.
The Day Support Options Program is designed to offer opportunities for individuals to experience peer-to-peer leisure and community inclusion and integration.
Full-day or part-day supervision
Transportation to our key locations in Woodbridge and Wallingford.
Recreation such as low-impact exercises and
movement, sporting events, swimming, bowling
and Special Olympics
Leisure alternatives and opportunities such as
dexterity and memory games with peers, short
trips, ceramics classes, and cultural events.
Volunteer work, such as delivering meals and
working at animal shelters and local libraries.
Creative art and music therapy.
A provider qualified by the CT Dept. of Developmental Services.
